Motorola DROID 2 Announced Now

Motorola today announced the next DROID, the DROID2 exclusive to Verizon Wireless. The design resembles the original Droid a lot from the front. The QWERTY keypad, however, has a complete makeover. It still as 4 rows but instead of the D-pad there are arrow keys. According to the press release, the DRoID 2 “offers a redesigned symmetrical keyboard with raised keys for more responsive typing to push out notes and status updates.” It will pack Android (Android) 2.2 Froyo with MotoBlur UI and a 1Ghz Snapdragon with 512MB RAM. The DROID 2 comes with Flash 10.1 pre-installed so you can experience the ‘full web’ easily.

The pre-sale starts from tomorrow, 11th August (August reviews) 2010 and the devices will Verizon Wireless stores on 12th August 2o10
