Penny Hardaway Is Struggling For His Goal

This time he has to be extra fit to keep up with his team and the young blood of his opponents. According to Hardaway he is now all better and working out four times a week. That is impressive for someone who has recovered from knee injuries. He also says that he is playing basketball five times a week just to get into shape and practice for the upcoming games in the NBA.

Anfernee Deon "Penny" Hardaway (born July 18, 1971, in Memphis, Tennessee) is a former American professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association (NBA), specializing as a small forward, shooting guard, and point guard. His most productive years came in his days as a member of the Orlando Magic as well as the early portion of his stint with the Phoenix Suns. Hardaway was an all-NBA player early in his career, but was plagued by constant injuries which gradually reduced his effectiveness. He last played for the Miami Heat, who released him December 12, 2007.

Season Highs: 15 points (at Denver, Feb. 1), six assists (at Philadelphia, Feb. 14), six rebounds (at Indiana, Nov. 13), four steals (vs. Indiana, Feb. 26), one block (three times) and 43 minutes (at Utah, Feb. 7).

Penny is 38 now but feels as if he never had the opportunity to finish his career. He indicates that he is healthy. Although the heat released him in December of 2007, he still wants to go back, especially to play with the Lebronmagnet.
