BMW Gran Coupe Gorges Model New Shaping Style

The Gran Coupe, which is that slated for production in 2012, have use the same power train as the 5, 6, and 7 series, which opens the door to a hybrid option. However, that its to be confirmed. The sedan will go head-to-head with other four-door vehicles with coupe styling, such as the Mercedes CLS, Audi's upcoming A7 and the Porsche Panamera, according to Auto Week.

However the four-door coupe will not be the new 6 series, as many had hypothesized earlier this year. Instead, the company will sell the four-door coupe alongside the next 6-series, which should hit showrooms in 2011.  Draeger says the Gran Coupe will share technology with the 6, and be priced similarly. According to BMW development chief Klaus Draeger, the Gran Coupe concept car seen at this year’s Beijing Auto Show will be going into production in 2012, a move not surprising to anyone who has seen the sales figures of the Mercedes-Benz CLS.

The design of its process a set through with a passion for aesthetic appeal and dynamic performance shaping style. precision and perfection. This is how the uncompromising premium aspiration of a BMW Group product, the unmistakable style of the brand BMW and the precisely defined character of each model are given concrete form.
